Podcasts play in reverse order
I recently bought an ipod classic and for some reason when chronological podcasts are loaded into it, it always lists them from newest one first to oldest one last. this means when i play podcasts that are serial in nature, i get episode 10 first, then 9, then 8, etc.
in order to play it in sequence, i have to scroll down to the bottom of the list and play episode 1. when it's done i have to go back up the menu list then manually select episode 2 and play that. i can't seem to find a way to make it play in the correct sequence.
has anyone else figured out a quick and easy fix or workaround for this?

Re: Podcasts play in reverse order
When in the Podcasts section in iTunes, click on the "Release Date" column, this will invert the sort order. When you sync your iPod, it should follow the new sort order. Take note, this still won't play the podcasts continuously, you'll have to manually select the next episode to play it.
If you want to play the podcasts continuously, like songs in a playlist, check out the post Podcast Tip: Continuous Listening.
