PodCasting
This is the "not-so" new thing that has been getting the raves in the web lately. After the RSS, now comes PodCasting. Its basically recording anything audio and broadcast it over the web with the aid of RSS. PodCasting started by no less than the former MTV VJ Adam Curry (the curly guy hosting the Top 20 Weekly Countdown).

Pod casting
Has anyone tried Podcasting? Its a great way to get over the fact that the ipod has no radio...well actually I really don't mind if the ipod has no radio but there are a lot of good talk podcasts. Leo Laporte has a great weekly podcast. Chris Pirillo also has one. Its a good way to keep in touch with anything and everything about technology.
And to those who have tried this...what are good podcasts you like???

Podcasting is really taking off, it's all over the news (CNN, USA Today -- just google podcasting). Anyway, I was listening to one of my favorite podcasts, Evil Genius Chronicles, and on it was mentioned (and a clip played of) Rey Navarette, of the Marites Vs. Superfriends fame. Dave Slusher, host of EGC, thought it was funny so he played a clip of it. Apparently, he thinks it's a stand-up comic routine that Rey does as a podcast, but the first time I saw Marites Vs. Superfriends was some years back, and it was as a Flash-based animation. I was totally caught off guard when he mentioned Rey, but it was a pleasant surprise.
Just thought I'd mention it here. I'm really enjoying podcasts.

After finally jumping on the RSS bandwagon i am now ready to begin discovering the wonders of podcasting. I found this great article for starters like me. It's a great and informative read.
And while I'm at it, I'd like to ask those who are already into podcasts, what program do you use? The article suggests 3 programs for Mac, Poddum Feeder, PlayPod and Ipodder X. Which one is best?

I've been using iPodderX ever since I started listening to podcasts. Works great for me. I love the way it integrates with iTunes and converts the podcasts into bookmarable AAC files.
Another podcast I want to suggest is Coverville.

Patrick,
What is the difference between ipodderX and ipodder lite? In you own point of view. I am presuming you have the ipodderX.
Does it really play video?
