for people like me who don't have pc's or macs.. how do you sync your ipod? pls share

i have a suking internet shop where the employees are clueless sa mga gnagawa ko. i install itunes every time i log in(nka deep freeze kc pc's nila) and then install neoretix to download videos and then install a p2p to download songs.. i do it all the time ever since i had my first ipod 2 years ago..i also have an 8gb flash drive to back up my mp3s and itunes. para i dont dload everytime i log in..everythings synching well nman kso i have problems with the apps kc i always have to re-synch all of my apps everytime theres an app na bago that i like to add to my touch.. now guys your turn....

I can't imagine not having a base station while using an iPod.

It would be easier to find a relative with a computer or save up for a net-pc.

this is one of the rare times where in for that kind of set-up, I'd rather recommend Creative or Archos...

the convenience and functionality of an ipod practically solely reliant on the very computer you have to sync it with.

my advice would be to buy a really really cheap computer/pc (you can get a pentium computer) from discount warehouses used from places like that one on pioneer st in mandaluyong(HMR) for like 5k (with monitor keyboard lahat).

that way you can just use it as a portal for your videos and music for your ipods.

Do you know that iPods are intended to be just an extension of iTunes so you can take your media files with you wherever you go? To have an iTunes, you gotta have your own rig. Just recently, at the advent of the latest iPods that can browse the net, play interactive apps, etc... iPods are still dependent on iTunes. They are not stand-alone gadgets.

How pitiful it is to have an iPod without owning at least a pc. Being that resourceful is good but that is impractical & unethical. You can't go on like that for long. Baka mabisto ka pa ng iyong suking internet shop, kahiya-hiya pa. Go get one, I know you can afford it.

@bam328: I agree with everyone else. You're kind of getting shafted even if you don't realize it. You're losing all the data saved on your Touch every time you synch because each time you do, you're creating a new library.

Get yourself either an old, used PC or build yourself one. I'm not sure whether to admire you for your persistence & creativity or to shake my head at your leeching off of your supposed suking internet shop.

Well, this answers a question I have with regards to the proliferation of iPods. I know that not everyone owns a Mac or a PC. The conclusion is that they sync illegal obtained and/or distributed music and content from somebody else's machine. I am not a digital saint all my life and I am not proud if it. I will not pass judgement on the original poster.

It is easy for us to recommend that you get a pc. But circumstances are not the same for all people. That is understandable. But I do have a used Windows laptop that I can let go ridiculously cheap if you are interested. It runs Windows 2000. Wifi, lan, modem included. PM me if interested.

i don't beleive ipods are merely extensions of your itunes. it's a media player.. it was created so that you can play media files wherever you are.. itunes transfers music to it... that's it.. and i don't think im LEECHING off the internet shops... do you think they pay for their downloads?? they'll charge you with 3 pesos a song for something na hndi rin nman nila bnayaran?? all they do is install limewire click on a song and voila.. 3 pesos a song.. and i personally think that's rubbish.. so i download my own songs.. and i also believe that my case isn't rare.. have you been to greenhills?? have you seen all the stalls that dowloads music and synchs ur ipod to their itunes?? people who don't know how to sych music to their ipods go there and waste money for music and movie downloads.. do you think that's practical??ethical?? and "how PITIFUL is to own an ipod without a PC??" dude please..pity those who has ipods and has no idea how to transfer music into it..dude i may not be a high roller like you are but like i've said i've been doin this for years already...
