OOB iphone unlocked!

Hey guys,

OOB iphone v. 1.1.2 with the latest bootloader has been successfully unlocked! Yes! and believe it or not I saw it myself. The tech guy here in cebu wont disclose any info on how he does it. He's earning much because of this for 4k per unit. So far he was able to unlock 25 units.

According to him, the security system of the iphone is the same with the old and new ones. The bootloader does not matter. The activation can be disabled and phone can be unlocked if you know how to locate those security files and remove it.

This guy knows much. He even told me that he can bypass activation without using a computer and no internet connection needed.

Anyone have an idea about this? Im sure there are also hackers there in manila that can do the same. Share naman.

really? haven't read anything about that on the net. is the tech guy working for a store in cebu? Can you tell me where? I'll be in cebu until friday.

Guides are not posted on the net. I guess a few knows about it but does not want to share it for business purposes. iPhone is a fast business structure.

Just keep it this way, if the new iphone cant be unlocked, bat may nag-oofer nang unlock sa internet for the latest version?

This guy does not work in a shop. But i heard audionet in SM Cebu can do the trick as well.

I also remember the tech talking about a similarity of the iphone with nokia. I guess nokia is also using unix on their phones.

As you can see, some of the codes are similar. I think if you know how to unlock a nokia phone, it shouldnt be hard for you to do the same on the iphone. Just my idea....;-)

i think it's selfish for the guy not to share it.. for all we know he just learned unlocking from somebody else too..

based on your story he might know how to use imei to compute for unlock codes, this how its being done on some nokia phones.

seriously- this will make him famous, he doesnt have to share the method just a proof that he done it. Ill believe it when i see it..
