OK to use old iPod accesories on new iPod?
I just bought a new iPod Classic 120GB to replace my old (2005) iPod Photo 30GB. Can I use all the accessories that came with the iPod Photo, particularly the USB cord and the Apple Charger, with the iPod Classic?
From reading this thread the answer seems to be yes for the charger but therefore I would assume yes for the USB cord.

Yes. It should work. It's firewire accessories that aren't compatible with current products. Namely the Touch or iPhone.

Yup Yup! I use my sister's old usb cord (yung may clickable sides) on my iPod Touch and it's ok naman. The charger I use when a pc's not around is the same charger she used/got for/from the original 30GB iPod. No problems so far.

Yup, accessories such as USB cable and charger will work. However for other accessories such as iPod Radio Remote, AV cables, etc, they only work with specific models (new accessories for new models of iPods).
