USD1470 is a substantial amount of money. But if the hacker groups get their hands on one of those offically unlocked units, it'll further spell trouble for Apple and Steve's efforts to thwart hacking attempts on the phone.

The price gives us an idea on how much Apple wants off of our pockets before it calls it quits and lets us have our way with the unit.

One thing in the article that took my fancy was T Mobile releasing "unlock codes" to those subscribers who want to to have an unlocked iphone that are already with a plan. That only means na Apple already has a backdoor for the unlocking of the iphone. Hope hindi maoverturn ang rule dito

Honestly not worth it in my opinion.

For that kind of money you could get two at the subsidized rates.

Considering there are some features I feel lacking for a tech phone (3G), I'd prefer to sync my Mac to an E90 and buy myself an Ipod Touch 16 gig.
