No Sound/Not Vibrating
Can somebody post the contents under the folder System/Library/Frameworks/Celestial.framework/
*CategoriesThatShareVolumes.plist
*CategoryMinimumVolumes.plist
*Celestial
*Info.plist
*SystemSoundBehavior.plist
*SystemSoundLowersMusicVolume.plist
*SystemSoundMaximumVolume.plist
*SystemSoundRouting.plist
*SystemSoundVibrationPatterns.plist
My iPhone stopped vibrating and making sounds on some of the alerts (i.e. unlock, new message, new mail, keyboard clicks etc.). The vibrating function still works when I have a phone call so I know that it's not a hardware problem.
Here is a sample of my info.plist under celestial.framework:
bplist00
_CFBundleDevelopmentRegion_CFBundlePackageTyp e_CFBundleSignature_CFBundleExecutable_CFBun dleIdentifier_CFBundleInfoDictionaryVersion\CFBu ndleName_CFBundleVersionWEnglishTFMWKT????YCeles tial_com.apple.CelestialS6.0U177.5
I really don't know how all of the contents under the Celestial.Framework suddenly changed, I only noticed this after I installed iAmp.
I'm hoping that once I replaced all the files, my phone will ring and vibrate 'normally' again. I'm on 1.0.2, if that helps.

Kindly check if you accidentally turn OFF the ring/silent switch.

try going to Settings - General - Reset - Reset All Settings, this might help...

The Ringer Swith is not the problem since I can still hear it ringing and vibrating when someone is calling me.

I saw that this trick solved other's problem, but not mine. I tried that and it failed..
I've already replaced these two:
*SystemSoundMaximumVolume.plist
*SystemSoundVibrationPatterns.plist
I only have to find for the others. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Pls... tulong nman po.

Sir x_krusty, since you're still on 1.0.2, may I suggest upgrading your firmware to 1.1.4? As you noted, your problem is not hardware related, so I'm fairly certain upgrading will solve it. You'll likewise have the benefit of significant software improvements and bug fixes.

Re: No Sound/Not Vibrating
im just curious, are you using other earphones & adpator for your iPhone? same thing happened to me months ago.
i thought it was a software problem.. but it's not. parang may naipit lang sa hole nung earphones. just dunked my earphones
and alas, it worked! :-) hope it's not a software problem hehe
exactly like your problem

Yes, I'm guilty of putting other earphones to my phone but I also heard/read about this thing about other people so I tried what they suggested that I should do and that is to plug and unplug the orig earphones but still.. it's not working.
Haay... I really shouldn't be bothered about this because my phone is always on a silent mode but I want it to vibrate!! Haayy.. may iPhone ka nga defective naman..
