    Default No SIM Inserted

I have been getting a "No SIM inserted" for the last few days. I just turn off the phone and turn on again to fix this, but yesterday this happenend more than 5 times and its annoying just to miss calls because you later found out that your phone is not working. Tried cleaning my sim card to make sure its not the cause of the issue, but I still got the same error today.

I also checked with my dad and he's also getting the same error once in a while.

Any suggestion on how to fix this? Thanks

Just check whether the sim is seated properly. If not, you may want to check with your provider to see if there are deficiencies with your sim card. Unlike nokia phones we can't insert a piece of paper as a buffer to make sure that the sim makes contact. Hope you get your iphone working.

it is possible with the contacts inside the iphone not touching your sim or loose, what if you add a piece of paper together with your sim

I don't recommend the paper solution. The iPhone sim card tray is fitted just for the sim.

the older sim are thinner, so it has chance not touching the connector, try to clean it with a pencil eraser and attach a thin scotch tape if needed, inserting paper might fall into the slit.

Would anyone know how to make ümobile work on an iPhone? I tried putting scotch tape at the back of the sim to make it thicker but to no avail. I did a hard reset on my iPhone after inserting the sim too. I tried to reset the Network Settings too but still it won't work.

Any help would be very much appreciated.
