no manual video update option
anyone of you in the same fix as i am? i got no manual video update option on my ipod. what's up with that? i know it should have this says the user's guide. I've consulted people from the apple discussion forum with no help. I am using windows xp on ibm. Somebody suggested it might have something to do with that. any great ideas?

mine same... maybe because you already set manually update sa music... kaya same na din with video... kasi video you can also drag and drop it eh...

mine too. and i'm using a powerbook. artagnan5's theory sounds logical.
i actually prefer manual updates coz i can delete the songs/videos from my 'book as soon as they're in my 'pod. :-)

Sorry about the tips I submitted earlier.
I did not have my USB connector that why I was not able to try it out before posting it.
Please try this.
1. Connect your iPod video via USB cable
2. When iTunes opens, go to Preference and click iPod tab
3. Under the Music tab, select Automatically Update Selected Playlists Only, then select any of the playlists in the box
4. click the Videos tab to select any playlit available in the Videoos option.
If you want to to manually update videos, select the Manually manage songs and playlists under the Music tab.
I hope it works. That's how I manage my iPod videos.

Hey guys here's the stupidly funny thing. I went to the apple center to consult my concern. The thing is, it turns out i was looking for something which isn't there in the first place. there is no manual update option on the video prefenrence window. Why? because video upload default setting is already manual update. if the video preference window is greyed out, you know it is set to manual update. :-) there. problem solved. :-)
