Newsweek: Jobs on iPod's Cultural Impact
The 5th birthday of the iPod is just around the corner. And Newsweek interviews Steve Jobs about the past, present and future of the iPod.
I especially liked his comments about the upcoming Zune.

Very interesting commentary, particularly his idea about kissing lips. Hehehe!

Re: Newsweek: Jobs on iPod's Cultural Impact
my favorite part:
"(Newsweek) Microsoft has announced its new iPod competitor, Zune. It says that this device is all about building communities. Are you worried?
(Jobs) In a word, no. I've seen the demonstrations on the Internet about how you can find another person using a Zune and give them a song they can play three times. It takes forever. By the time you've gone through all that, the girl's got up and left! You're much better off to take one of your earbuds out and put it in her ear. Then you're connected with about two feet of headphone cable."
Stevie is a cool geek. Bill must hate Steve.

Hahahaha! Now that is one really god quote, it really makes you think. Using new technology to meet someone like sending a song? Or simply sharing an earbud? Either that was well thought of or Steve just knows how to work with portable music players.
