I hope iPod mini will have colored screen soon! That will be great!

This is so insane! Just add $100 and you get an iPod that has triple the capacity and in color to boot! Decisions decisions decisions! I hope the new iPods will have better quality color LCDs.

I want the 20GB. I just hope that battery life won't be significantly reduced because of the color screen.
Any user experiences on the difference in battery life because of the color screen out there?

i just bought my 20 GB last month!!! Feel sad, but resigned. I didn't expect to be outdated so soon after my purchase. At least the PBook I got won't be outdated for a few months yet, sigh.
Feel like nalugi ako.:sigh:

Holy Wowow...almost bought an iPod during the recent BPI madness!!!
Now my 'abstinence' has paid off!!!
I looks like Apple has rid it's iPod lineup of music + data only iPods and opted to merge everything into the iPod Photo. Good move.

Death of the iPod photo
With this announcement, the iPod photo is no more, at least in name. Actually, the iPod photo is now known as just plain iPod. The 30GB is gone as well, just like the 40GB before it.
Still no FW cable, dock, remote nor AV Cable. They're all optional items.
We can only expect prices to drop on the 'older' models.

Apple Store is offering the phased out iPod 30GB with color display for $329.00 while the iPod 20GB with Click Wheel (not color display) for $269.00.
