Hi paengster. we highly encourage all members to use english in our forums, so hopefully, you will too. Welcome to PhilMUG!
As for your question, Gelaskins are used on the latest nanos for protection with style without the bulk (as the pack states). one can never be too careful. And when it comes to the iPod Nano being scratch proof, I believe that only applies to the glass panel, since the ones you'll see on display at the PMC have so many on the body already.

... apart from that, Gelaskins add a certain feel when you hold your ipod with it... adds grip, back protection and of course, uniqueness and style! at least you know which one's yours in case yours gets lost in the crowd. do check out Fully Booked Rockwell... they still have quite a few in stock.
oh and welcome to Philmug! enjoy!

nope, it's still scratch-able. i believe its screen is different from the ones used for the screen of iPod touch & iPhone. And the body is like that of the 2nd gen nano & 2nd gen shuffle - can be scratched but better than the chrome back body of the 3rd gen nano, iPod classic, etc. :-)

Re: new ipod nano's, scratchproof????
yeah its scratch proof alright.
they used the same arsenic free glass on their new macbooks and iphones and ipod touch. the only thing is that when you play it with maze and tilt it some of the areas of the screen gets magnified because of its curved shape. try also to get a good grip of it cause it tends to silde off your hands.
ps don't let the earphones rub the back of your ipod. the metallic screen on the earphones will scratch it big time, it happened to me.

Hi jaijin, actually, Tagalog is fine, as long as it's easy to understand. It's TXT lingo that we don't allow.
Thanks.
