New iPhone owner blues. Now I can't sync to iTunes
Hello everyone,
I just got my iPhone and already started playing with it. I've activated it already and got YouTube to work too. I was able to sync some songs, pics, movies, calendar, contacts, and bookmarks.
Then I noticed that my bookmarks on my Powerbook was kinda bloated so I backed it up, then proceeded to "trim the fat" from my current bookmarks. I then tried to sync to iTunes to update my bookmarks there. That is when I noticed that it was taking a very long time to do this. I tried everything from rebooting the phone and my laptop. Still nothing.
I then even did a restore on the iPhone to bring things back to its "new" state.
Of course I activated it again then tried to sync. Still nothing.
Anyone have any insights on what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks.

Does it not even detect the iphone when you connect the phone to your computer?

Re: New iPhone owner blues. Now I can't sync to iTunes
I've narrowed things down a bit. I unchecked syncing of contacts, calendars and bookmarks. My iPhone is now able syncs with my music, photos and videos.
But I'm still having problems syncing with contacts, calendars and bookmarks.

Re: New iPhone owner blues. Now I can't sync to iTunes
After searching the net for answers, I came upon this tip.
Launch iSync.
Go to Preferences.
Click Reset Sync History
I tried it and now I am able to sync everything.
