    Default My iPhone finally Repaired!

What iResq can't do, DJGT can! I bought an iPhone last September from the online apple store. Unfortunately, it had the 'No Service' problem. A lot of kind-hearted philmugger friends tried to look into it using different mehods of unlocking, jailbreaking or even devirginizing. All to no avail.

I then decided to sell it since all functions work except the call and SMS features. Waited for about a month but no takers from our forum marketplace. I decided to send it to the US to iResq hoping they can fix it. They advised me that the logic board needs replacement and that it will cost me around USD220 for it. Repair estimate was way out of my budget so I decided to pull it out. I only had to pay USD9 for their diagnostic repair service.

I then saw a post in our forum that a store in theater mall named DJGT can do iPhone repairs. Gave them a call and was quoted P5k for the logic board. A far cry from the USD220 that was quoted by iResq. I brought it to their shop and met Earl. Earl didn't open it up immediately. He wanted to check if the software was all complete. After almost an hour, he shows me the iPhone with a globe signal!!! He didn't even have to open the phone! I was so impressed with how they did it! Whatever they did, I'm sure its their trade secret. More power to you guys at DJGT!

Well, i wouldn't think it was luck. I was already prepared to have the logic board replaced. When Earl saw the unit, he saw that there was a chance with just a firmware tune-up to make it work. He knew what was doing from the beginning. These guys are good!

I got the same problem with my client before, getting on/off signal to no service. I check on the sim card tray, and the iphone sim contacts. iphone sim slots seems to be loose, so I place a masking tape on the back of his sim card to make it thicker. Viola!! no more "No Service" iphone sim contacts elements fit on sim card, thanks to the masking tape...
