Unhappy Left speaker is louder than the right speaker

I have a problem with my 1.1.1 iphone week 44. My left speaker sounds louder than the right speaker. Is there a fix for this aside from upgrading to 1.1.2? Will upgrading solve this problem or will remain the same? I just want to be sure before upgrading.

I think the left is the mic while the right speaker is the speaker. Is it normal if the left side sounds louder than the right especially when you cover the right?

There is only one speaker and it is the one on the same side as the volume buttons and silent/ring switch. The bottom grille on the other side is the microphone. I just read this from the iPhone user guide. Hope this helps.

    Hi jAyTriXz.

When you are looking at the phone's screen, the speaker's at the left bottom part while the mic's on the right. You can verify this by looking it up in the manual. Go to the 'Basics' section.

The reason I asked this question is because the iPhone video titled "iPhone. A Guided Tour" found at Apple's website (http://www.apple.com/iphone/gettings...uidedtour.html) tells us that the speaker is found at the RIGHT while the mic is found on the LEFT.

Apple's video gave us a wrong information.

But they updated it in the manual that DarkCast provided. That's all.
