About LinkBacksI don't know if this is just coincidence, but ever since I updated my fw to 2.1, I do not remember being able to browse continuously with a 3G connection. Prior to updating, I do recall being able to do so in some areas in Makati. However, even in those same areas, whenever I connect via 3G, it always switches to edge after a few seconds. Always.
Is there anything wrong?

Re: Is it just me or is everyone else also having trouble keeping a 3G connection? I had problems acquiring a 3G signal with 2.0.2 firmware. After updating to 2.1, I've received good 3G coverage in general.

Re: Is it just me or is everyone else also having trouble keeping a 3G connection? what i noticed is when i don't use Safari for browsing i always get a 3G signal but when i start to use Safari using a 3G signal it suddenly drops to EDGE or GPRS signal although the connection is still fast. what gives?

Re: Is it just me or is everyone else also having trouble keeping a 3G connection? For me, even if my iPhone is set on 3G, there are instances that the network is not available. This happens while I'm in the office, or in the car. I sometimes need to re-search for the available networks, which is a hassle really.

Re: Is it just me or is everyone else also having trouble keeping a 3G connection? never really had a problem with a regular 2G signal. even in our master's bedroom at home where my former motorola v3x phone can't get a signal, my iPhone 3G has a 2-4 bars.

I will get full 3G signal, pero pag nag kokonek nako sa internet, it will drop to Edge/Gprs speeds.
**never pakong nakapagsurf/connect totally under 3G speed.

Re: Is it just me or is everyone else also having trouble keeping a 3G connection? have you tried using your sim in another 3g phone?more like an issue w/ globe's 3g network, before i had 6500s will show 3g, pag connect kahit sa home page lang ng globe,baba sa gsm signal..aside from that may mga issue din regarding 3g reception ng iphone 3g..
