itunes sync problems on 1.1.3

Hello guys,

I'm having sync problems with my newly upgraded 1.1.3 iphone using ziphone method. i came from 1.1.2 and did a full restore to 1.1.3, using itunes 7.6

When i sync it gets cut, an error flashes "the iphone _____ cannot be synced. The disk could not be read or written to". I can only sync around 15 songs after that it gets cut, so i have to disconnect the iphone and start sync again. What seems to be the problem. Tried searching the net but cannot seem to find a solution.

try to reset your iphone by pressing sleep + home, wait till screen goes black then wait for apple logo to appear then release the buttons, restart your pc/mac also..... HTH

tried to reset the iphone, still the same problem

cant sync movies, i still get the same error

is the video converted to iphone format already?

be more specific so i can help you. iphone build week? ur current baseband? ur current version? and lastly what did u do to unlock ur phone. from here we can diagnose and troubleshoot ur iphone.

week 38 iphone, 1.0.2 otb, upgraded to 1.1.1 then 1.1.2 and now just upgraded to 1.1.3 using itunes full restore to 1.1.3 and ziphone to jailbreak and unlock. Using itunes 7.6

everything is ok when i was on 1.1.2 now when ever i sync its stops around the 15 to 25 songs and indicates the error the disk cannot be writen or read. I also can't sync movies it also stops in the middle.

Thinks i've done;
1. Reinstalled itunes 7.6 - still the same
2. Installed itunes 7.5 - still the same
3. Reset iphone - still the same

i have an ipod shuffle that syncs ok, so i think the error is on the iphone

Joel_p, there might have been some corruption, consider restoring your iPhone.

ok i see, when you updated to 1.1.1 from 1.0.2 did u use a proper update? lahat ba ng update used itunes to update and your iphone was never unlocked? cause if it was unlocked before and used soft upgrades - this would have cause some issues with the phone. i think thru the process from 1.0.2 you should revirginized your iphone before goin thru the itunes update. as i have done my iphone is week 27 build and updated to 1.1.3 all thru itunes as im on AT&T contract but recently dropped my contract and i unlocked my phone om v1.1.3 using itunes 7.5 ziphone 2.0. i would recomend to put the iPhone on DFU mode and restore/update to v1.1.3 then use ziPhone 2.3 to unlock, activate, jailbreak. add me on ym im online if need more info. ym id killah_max
