iTunes Store not supported in your country
I just woke up to check the new stuff from MacWorld and I fired up iTunes Store in my iPhone. I was surprised to see that iTunes showed a message telling me that the Music store isnt available in my country. It closes the app after that. Anybody noticed the same thing for those who have a US iTunes account?
I got it to open when I used a VPN service. Is Apple blocking iTunes by region nowadays?!

Nothing wrong with the iTunes store being accessed in both my Mac and iPhone. Maybe you weren't logged in to your US account when you synced your iPhone?

Fired up my iTunes on my ATV just now. Except for a notice (the T.O.S. again), I can identify no access issues similar to yours. Same applies to iTunes via my MBA. I purchased "Macarena" from iTunes "90's one hit wonders" album. No problems downloading and playing the song.

My AppStore works and I can open itunes store if I activate VPN. It may just be an isolated case for me. Something may be wrong with the ISP that we use at home for wifi. Thanks

I had an incident too with iTunes store but regarding the inability to show the amount in my itunes account. Just did some repair permissions upon closing the itunes app then reopened it and logging it again.

@macman.....A month or so ago, I had a similar problem with the disappearance of the balance window on the right, upper side of itunes. The thing resolved itself after a few hours. It is an iTunes server problem.

Re: iTunes Store not supported in your country
It seems like its only with the ISP here in our home. By the way I forgot to mention I'm specific with the iPhone iTunes store only but it can be applicable to the desktop/notebooks as well. I'm using a first-gen phone and opening iTunes over EDGE works normally. I hadn't checked with my MB since it is due for repair next week and currently out of commission.

Re: iTunes Store not supported in your country
@raypin what was weird is that in my macbook it does not appear but in my powerbook it appears (account balance) which is why I did some repair permissions.
@bacchus hope the problem resolves
