iTunes rescued my CDs!

Yay!

I have more than half a dozen CD's that had been badly scratched to the point that no CD player (laptop,dvd player, cd walkman) can play them. At a point, tracks would just stutter, and then stop.

Out of curiosity, I popped it in while I was processing files in iTunes for my iPod. It was reading, but I was expecting it to fail. After getting out of the showers, I noticed that all the songs were converted - in full, non-stuttering. I just sampled the songs that I know were badly damaged - and they played as if it wasnt damaged at all! Although, it did take a lot longer than the usual processing of CD tracks.

So, like the other night, I spend the whole night porting all those CD tunes to my iPod. Gorillaz, Devid Benoit, Crossover Collection, Putu Mayo CD's, Linkin Park were all saved!
