There are songs that really don't transfer to the iPod even if they are in iTunes, but I have no clear idea why not. I have several that don't transfer, but iTunes warns me of this fact, and tells me which songs, even if it doesn't tell me why. I suppose it's some flavor of encoding iPods have trouble with, even if iTunes doesn't. I'm going to look it up.

i know what you mean by that sir adel, those are the songs that wasn't able to be transfered cuz they can't find the source of something technical... :wound: but mine just syncs and you'll really see the 3 songs (whatever they are) missing...... should i restore my iPod? would that help?

:wound: Hmm. I don't quite understand exactly what you're saying there, but restoring is too drastic a step. Are you saying you can't live without knowing what the missing songs are? If you don't know what they are and don't miss them, maybe they aren't that important to begin with, and you should go back to living your life instead of worrying about a few missing songs you don't even know the titles of.
If you really must find out, you can try restoring, or do it the hard way. Physically index your iTunes playlist: compare the libraries on both iTunes and the iPod, one song at a time. Alphabetical naman.
Or, there's another option: it's gonna be a drag (at least you have the Holy Week break to do it in), but maybe you'll have to check the codecs of your songs to see which ones don't play nice with an iPod.
Refer to Apple's official list of compatible codecs here.
