iPod Touch Moment

Hey, since there's an iPhone moment for some, I'd like to start what ipod touch moments you have with another anonymous person wanting to know about the touch that you have or just talking about your touch behind your back...


for me there's one time a girl asked if i have the iphone cuz the touch pretty much looks like the iphone but I said no... of course... then I said it's the touch etc.... and she took a hold of it naman.... haha... then she just asked how much... where did i buy it... etc... yeah.... kakahiya pero xmpre yabang ko sa pag sabi.... un na un... and another time at the elevator may nag sabi yun ung sinasabi ko....

I've gotten so many comments already from people saying how nice my "iPhone" is and I have to point out it's an Ipod Touch...

Now I'm thinking: maybe I should have gotten an iPhone instead?

haha! thats funny happosai. haha. my ipod touch deserves a moment too, but i havent even turned it on yet. all ive done is open the box. haha. still waiting for the back protector first (im hella OC). but with my iphone, i was walking around greenhills while talking on the phone, and i would hear all the people around me whispering to each other saying.... look, iphone yun, iphone yun! and a few people came up and asked me if it was unlocked and that if i was selling it. haha

Another iPod Touch moment:

I was at Powermac Greenbelt last Saturday. As expected, there were lots of people falling in line to have a hands-on on the new iPod Touch which was displayed on the first table. I went straight to the second table where various speakers for iPods are displayed and placed my iPod Touch in one of the dock speakers to test if it was compatible. It worked, then I started playing some songs on low volume so as not to attract to much attention.

A guy came and started a friendly chat on how much was it, where I bought it, etc... While we were having a conversation, suddenly another rude guy with a girl (who was probably trying to impress his girlfriend) butted in and told me: "Sir, kanina pa kami dito, kami naman ang sunod dyan! Buti kung bibilhin mo yan!" As there were 4 other empty speakers on that same table, I figured out he wasn't referring to the speakers but the Touch. So I told him: "Ah, ikaw ba sunod? Sige, ikaw na...". Then I took my iPod off the speakers and placed it in my pocket and left. The girl he was with was obviously embarassed.

I would have lent it to them if he just asked me nicely.

Nice move, aragorn_109! I have yet to get my hands on, or even see, an actual iPod Touch (I'm so out of touch sometimes, I swear!) Though I can imagine the amount of attention something like it can generate.
