ipod shuffle clip damaged

my gf bought a sliver shuffle last week. over the weekend, i borrowed it for the day and returned it to her after. she clipped it in her bag then i took her home already. the next day, she found the clip already "lifted"; one side doesn't bite fully anymore.

yes i know something must have bumped it really hard, but my question is, will they repair it, even if i pay for it (warranty is really different here...)?

i think it can be replaced since its under warranty. Just be honest to tell that you didnt mis handle it or just make an alibi. :-)

after almost three weeks, im getting back the shuffle tomorrow. they said they aligned it already. wonder how they did it.

funny thing is, when i called back after the 5-day waiting period, they said the unit was "under discussion". must've been an unprecedented case hahaha!

i'm glad they fixed yours already. i know its a bit OT for this topic but my ipod shuffle suddenly stopped mounting or appearing on iTunes. When I plug it into the usb, nothing happens. Its not recognized, nothing whatsoever. The weird part is that it can still play all the songs. I just cant charge nor load songs in it. So I brought it for repairs, and up to now, I still dont have a reply if apple will replace it or fix it. :slanted:

did u try resetting ur shuffle?
