ipod for rent while flying
mexico airlines now offers ipod for rent while on board their planes. i hope other airlines will follow soon, better yet they should make all planes ipod ready. also they should let us plug in our macs while flying..

oh, i do know singapore airlines has a program on its telly that allows passengers to program their own personal music playlist.

china airlines also has this service where you can create your own personal playlist, even for the economy sections. hopefully, northwest airlines will have this, too. I use NWA more often when I fly.

...In this case, Apple should have a list on its site showing all airlines offering this service, a la CNN Partner hotels.

Singapore Airlines's KrisWorld does have that personal playlist function.
Just forgot where I read it, but Apple has teamed up w/ Continental, Delta, Emirates, & United to make their seats iPod-compatible. No mention, though, of when it'll be operational.
