First, you must "enable disk use" so that you're ipod will mount of the desktop.
Second, Make a document, note or even lyrics using any word processing app (just make sure you save it in txt format)
Third, save it (or copy it) in the ipod/notes directory

Just plug your iPod in. It'll mount on your mac/pc by default

I don't think there's any "enable disk use" option to click as kenshinx mentioned... or is there? I vaguely remember it... :slanted: Maybe in iTunes prefs?

Anyways, just plug it in and put the txt file in the notes folder.

One caveat, there's a limit to how much text can be displayed in one .txt file so don't expect to read ebooks on your iPod, unless they're really short stories

I'm a bit lazy to walk over to the sofa and plug in my iPod to check , but if I remember right, it's in iPod preferences. Click the little iPod icon on the bottom right in iTunes.
