iPod Nano (4th Gen) Clickwheel
Is it only me, or do any of you find the clickwheel of the latest 4th gen iPod nano to be on the loose/wobbly side?
Build quality is a huge factor for me so that little issue is kinda bothersome and is also somehow preventing me from going ahead with a purchase (shall we say that I'm critical of a product or too much of a nitpicker? haha)...
Anybody else feel the same way? iPod Nano owners, does the 'wobbly' wheel bother you somewhat or is it entirely fine?
Thanks for your comments and inputs.

Re: iPod Nano (4th Gen) Clickwheel
compared to the previous models of nanos, i think this one is no longer as heavy duty. based on wikipedia, they had the 1st gen nano tested its durability by running a car over it, dropping it from a 9 ft height, dropping from a moving car, etc. i think the new one will not stand any of that.

Re: iPod Nano (4th Gen) Clickwheel
Thank you for the responses.
pochiman, I was considering the iPod Nano as a gift. The person wants something very compact and easily strapped to the arm. So definitely, Touch and Classic are out of the window.
I asked the forum for comments because I called up Power Mac Center to ask about the issue, and they told me that all iPod Nanos have that loose and wobbly Clickwheel, even the new ones.
Still, I checked out a couple of demo units this weekend, and lo, the Clickwheel on them wasn't wobbly at all. So maybe the looseness is something that eventually would develop on regular use? (tsk tsk, saleslady was wrong...)
chibull's right. The current generation of Nanos aren't as durable as before (*sigh*), but then again, they are also cheaper. So.... I guess there's your tradeoff?
Oh well, held off the purchase for now anyway....
Thanks again, guys.
