    Default Ipod - Contact Display??

just recently bought ipod classic 80gb and i would like to know how do you display "company name" on ipod's contact. All I can see is the name and the position only and cannot see the company name.

    please help.

if I remember my old ipod, you can only choose first, last or last, first to sort your contacts. If so, then input the company name on either first or last and use first, last or last, first as the sorting criterea as the case may be. I don't remember being able to view and sort by company name only in my old ipod.

Is that what you're looking for?

ipod classic is v-card compatible. I suggest you just use one of the contact fields as your de facto company name field.

Is this what your screen shows:

    Jose Rizal <-----name
National Hero <----- department <----substitute with company name instead or combine
    Mobile: (213) 4567890
    Fax: (213) 45456444
    Home: (213( 678896554
    Email: jprizal@phillmug.rocks

if the org or company name is not in the list of available data fields, I suggest you just use department as your de facto company name field since department is displaying in your ipod contact details.

BTW, What software do you use to synchronize/import your contacts on your ipod classic?
