    Default Ipod Classic Dead LCD

Be wary of tiny dead pixels on ur ipod lcds guys, they're like rabbits, they GROW Day 1 there were a few dots, Day 2 they were little hyphens, and then they grew to big lines on my screen! I never dropped my ipod and i always take good care of it, dunno how this happened, went to the apple store in Rockwell, had it serviced, good thing it was still under warranty got it back after 1 1/2 weeks, things is, they replaced it with a new unit, so my skins got lost Kinds got bummed, still I was able to buy the design I was looking for, so there was a bright side somewhere

Even though I never dropped my ipod, I think the pressure from being squeezed in a bag with my books and macbook was the culprit, but kudos to the apple service here in the Phils for a prompt replacement So watch out guys for those little dead pixels guys!

UPDATE: 4 days after getting my ipod back... a BLUE VERTICAL LINE appears running from the top of the screen to the bottom, i'm seriously pissed! Had it replaced this afternoon, it's going to be another 2 weeks... I'm starting to get frustrated here

sad to hear that....was your replacement a new unit? odd to have thesame problem on relatively new units..
