iphone won't power

Guy's need help here, my iphone just power off or stop working i really don't know i can't seem to get it back to power.
I tried pressing the power button still nothing is happening.. I also plug it to charge but i really don't know if its vcharging or not...

have you tried connecting it in the dock while pressing the home button? just keep it pressed & wait for about 5secs.

Or try doing a very hard reset by pressing home and sleep/on-off buttons at the same time until the phone boots and apple logo appears. Wait for as long as a minute or so.
