US is definitely the cheapest place to buy an iPhone =)

Re: iphone price if you have the means to buy them from the US directly as mentioned above it will be the best option for you, but if you really wanted one for your Dad in a jiffy ask around Philmug or go to the Marketplace and for sure someone is selling a new iPhone but it will be bit more expensive compared to buying from the States.

I got my iPhone last monday. My brother bought me in US and the price is cheaper compare here in the Philippines. It only cost USD499=PHP20,495 (1USD=PHP41.00 conversion) I jailbreak my iphone this afternoon to use the local sim card. It tooks me 10 minutes to unlock the phone.
