Well, I'm sure we're all watching user reviews of the iPhone knowing that its coming here next year, it is certain to affect our views on phones currently available to us, for most of us these are just "placeholders" for the iPhone's local arrival.

I've been eyeing what current owners of Nokia N95 have to say when they put it side by side with the iPhone. So far, Leo Laporte (famous tech journalist) in the latest TWIT says that although the N95 is technologically superior in many respects, the Symbian OS just feels like Windows compared to the iPhone's Mac. Meanwhile Tech Blogger Robert Scoble says pretty much the same thing: except for the superior camera, the iPhone's OS just beats the Nokia N95 hands down.

I can't imagine the impact the iPhone will have here knowing that Symbian has been dominating a large part of the local smartphone market. I'm definitely putting any more purchases or upgrades ON HOLD until the iPhone arrives!
