    Smile iPhone as modem

    What if theres no wifi and you need to use the internet, have you used the iphone to connect to the web via Edge?

    has anyone tried doing this???

    the iPhone doesn't have any modem capabilities (yet), but the link you gave is about tethering. Clever hack though.
