iPhone headphone adapter
The iPhone's headphone socket is recessed right? I wanted to connect it to my car but the usual jacks don't fit the recessed headphone slot.
Do you know where I can find one that isn't priced near a thousand pesos?
Seems silly to get a branded version like belkin when the components used making it don't cost over 100 pesos.
Thanks

Re: iPhone headphone adapter
either you blade through the rubber to make the 3.5" jack thin enough for it to fit the socket or get an adapter from Digital Walker or Digital Hub

Reason: 3.5" jack not wire

Hi Dave, I get mine from Digital Walker. Around 200+ bucks I think.

That's the one I found yesterday in the smaller stores of Robinson's Pioneer (120 pesos).
The reason I wanted that cable was I also have a 4G iPod and it's only that cable that allows me to both connect the audio and USB cable attached at the same time to charge the unit in the car.
I did have an older car charger for the iPod but the 4G doesn't charge (something about firewire/usb circuitry in the connector) so I got a car USB charger from CD-R king.

I also bought one from Digital Hub. 295 pesos, brand is SMARTGEAR.. Perfect for iPhone, sound is still the same and there are no cables that might get cut in time. It's very durable in my opinion..
