iphone hangs when sms received

i need help my phones keeps on hanging when sms arrive. Either i use ed velarde's appsupport patch or timschuerewegen's patch.

im on 1.1.4 sorry i didn't gave any info. My iphone is upgraded to 1.1.4 from 1.1.3 unlocked using ziphone's software with Mac OS X 10.5.2. I heard some that i need to fully restore this then jailbreak it again using ziphone. How do i full restore an iphone just restore it through itunes?

to restore(dfu mode) --- press the “power/lock” and “home” buttons simultaneously(sabi 7 seconds daw), until the iPhone’s screen goes black; keep them both pressed an extra 2 seconds, then release the “power” button and continue holding the “home” button pressed. At the end of 10 seconds, iTunes should see the iPhone; you can let go, it is in DFU mode
