iPhone Hanging No More!

Guys, if you still encounter your phone hanging or your screen suddenly turn into black? and all you have to do is reset? this happens when you are doing something into your sms. or when you left some unread sms, or unanswered calls. some guys here advice to turn off the dim settings of your wallpaper. turning back to the default theme , etc. and still did not work? my iphone get an average of 2-3 reset whenever i left some sms unread.

Here's what i did. i downloaded squid file manager go to Library\Frameworks\summerboard.framework\ then select SummerBoard file and set its permissions to : 511(777) or check everything on it. then apply and restart your iphone.

from then on my iphone did not encounter frequent hangs or black/blank screen.

let me know if this works...its a weird fix just because of permissions and an unusual one at that but I can't test it yet until I get home.

weird it may seem.. but hey its been two days now. and my phone did not encounter such problem.... this might be a temporary solution. but somehow a new version of summerboard will come out and fix the problem for good....

does this also apply to a condition where our iphone becomes very slow? like if u slide the unlock bar to the other side, it stays on the unlock side for around 30 secs then finally unlocks?
