iPhone Hands On Review by Philmug Members
I created this thread for all hands-on reviews of the iPhone (not by non-Philmug users). I know it might be premature since the iPhone won't be available here until 2008, but I also know that there are Philmug members based in the US, so am hoping they would start posting their reviews here soon. This will help us in planning our finance and phone upgrades for the next 6 to 12 months waiting period...

Re: iPhone Hands On Review by Philmug Members
Is there anyone on this forum who has confirmed that they are getting one?

I still have two nights to decide.
With the FAQ I got from AT&T:
Q. I just upgraded my phone recently. Are there any penalties or restrictions for upgrading to iPhone right away?
A. No. Everyone can upgrade to iPhone right away.

Here's iLounge's computation of AT&T's 2-year plans for the iPhone:

I'm not familiar with US telco packages. Are these pretty good?
15" MacBook Pro 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo, 4GB RAM, 256MB GeForce 8600M GT, 160GB HDD, AirPort Extreme, OS X 10.6.7

I'm paying the exact same for my phone plan (with data) with Cingular.

I'm going to the US late this year and I plan on getting one... but seeing the plan they are offering it with... I don't think I want to get tied up for 2 years... might as well wait for the "unlocked" iPhones

I'm planning to buy one. Two more days! I'll post my first impressions. I'll try and type it out using my iPhone, naks! :P

You lucky first day buyers might want to get this free t-shirt:

You just pay for shipping. Cool shirt! But don't wear it around unless you want to get mugged!

Why is the cost of the iphone still the same even if you avail of a higher plan?
