Iphone 3G Auto Correct?

Hi Guys. Not so sure if a similar topic has been posted here. The Search engine is not working, so decided to start a new post.

So here's my question: How do you turn-off the Iphone 3G's auto-correct feature when texting?

I know the 1st gen has this feature. Tried to tinker w/ my Iphone but can't seem to find it. Well, maybe because it is not there after all ha? If so, is there a way to disable this feature? Sorry but it just irritates me...and makes texting more of an effort than it is.

if I'm not mistaken you cant turn it off... the 1st gen has it because it was hacked.
