iPhone 2G for use in the Philippines?
Newbie here.
I currently own an iPhone 3G tied to AT&T here in the U.S. and I have a 1st gen iPhone 2G that I've jailbroken/unlocked using PwnageTool. I'm visiting relatives in Luzon next month and I wanted to know if it was possible to use the 1st gen iPhone in the Philippines using a prepaid plan from one of the carriers there. From what I understand, I can purchase a SIM card and buy prepaid minutes (load). Is it simple as popping the new SIM in there or do I need to do anything besides jailbreaking/unlocking to prep my iPhone 2G?
Also are there any shops/stores that could do this for me in the Manila area?
Thanks for any help.

There are shops in greenhills than can fix this for you. As far as i know once it's jailbroken, you're free to use it anywhere in the world.
Goodluck!

Thanks for the info. I've been to Greenhills before so I can ask my cousin to take me. Is there any particular shop that you would recommend?
