Although I'm in the audio business, I'm not an audiophile. But I sure would love to check out the high end gear, so count me and Cyn in for this! (My wife's presence, of course, being the insurance that I won't succumb to any gear lust and actually wind up buying anything)
And btw, I'm proud that Apple (and the iPod) are well represented in this event ... hope it brings a couple of more converts to the PhilMUG fold. Probably filthy rich ones, too.

Look? i think you mean listen (and enjoy the pure sound!).
Al, Kelvin and the rest of the Pat Metheny fans out there, I'll be playing a lot of Pat Metheny Group recordings for the demo. I recently acquired the July 13, 1991 Marseilles, France live sessions, remastered at that! I'm sure you'll enjoy it, great classic stuff!

I stand corrected...
Listen yes, along with looking at the home theater set-ups, and the iMac G5... as well as keeping an eye out for a Bose Sound Dock if ever it pops up somewhere...
Hmmm, wonder if the brand spanking new U2 and Photo 'Pods will make it to the show... I guess all I'll have to do is go to the Apple Room and see what the fuss is all about with these newfangled iPod things... Hehehe.
@elbertc: Weird question man, but are there any freebies for Mandarin black card members during the event? Just curious...
EDIT: Wonder if there are iPod + Car setups during the exhibit as well... But methinks its probably not likely...

Hmmm, maybe Listening in Style would demo a pair of Dynaudio loudspeakers.

Nah I don't consider myself an audiophile at all.
We don't scrimp on equipment at the studio ... we spend mucho $$$ to make sure Hit has the best possible gear.
But at home, I don't have any real audiophile stuff. My setup is just basic consumer gear ... a Sony TV, an Onkyo AV receiver, tiny Klipsch Quintet speakers and a Paul Barton subwoofer. I only use it for watching TV and playing Xbox - most of the DVDs I've seen lately have been on my laptop, and I don't play music at home. Definitely nowhere near Manilaman's setup!
