Installer Latest Update problem

Hello!

Some help here... I just updated Installer today, version 3.4 I think. My phone is 1.0.2. After installing, everytime I try to install or update, the app quits. Has anyone had the same problem? Can I downgrade to the previous version or something?

maybe try upgrading your phone to firmware 1.1.4 i guess

A less drastic solution, hopefully? I kinda like 1.0.2...

And correction, the latest Installer is version 3.1, apparently, not 3.4...

It looks cool and new but it keeps quitting when I try to install or update. Restarting doesn't help. Anyone had this problem?

One of the reasons why developer updates an app to a newer version is for it to adapt on the OS environment and behaviour. I guess it's the same case applied on Installer app. It fits well on 1.1.4's atmosphere but apparently gets cranky on earlier versions of iphone's OS. I got zero problem with 3.1 on 1.1.4. Will ask some 1.0.2 disciples if they've encoutered any problem with their 3.1 installer.

Im on 1.1.4, just checked my installer, it also quits after updating. dont know why.

The update for Installer pops up automatically. I guess this isn't limited to 1.0.2 then... so far Installer keeps quitting still. I hope a fix comes soon. Let's keep this up until we solve it...

the installer now have a search function! Hehe. Mine doesn't quit. Maybe because of the search function, that's why yours quit. Older firmware doesn't support SDK functions...(?)

Oh well. Anyway, I've reinstalled the old version of Installer, and it works fine. If anyone with 1.0.2 installs the new installer version and sees a fix for the quitting thing, please post it here. Thanks for the responses. ^_^

the update appered after i refreshed the sources. no problem with quiting also
