Installer.app for 1.1.4

HI! I just upgraded from 1.1.1 to 1.1.4 using independence. Everything went on fine until i tried using the installer.app. I downloaded version 3.01 but i cant download apps. First i encountered the "Main execution script error" then i did the chmod fix now it shows a different error message- Cant find host. Can anyone help me? Is there a "proper way" of installing the installer.app in 1.1.4?

Download communty services and BSD subsystem first then refresh, that's it. Everything will be fine.

A workaround would be to jailbreak, activate and unlock using Ziphone, rather than independence, which installs installer.app automatically. See if that works.
