Inquirer.net reviews iPhone 3G, misses out on App Store?
so here i was reading thru inquirer.net's review of the iPhone 3G, most of it made perfect sense, he ranted about the lack of basic mobile phone functionality and like business cards sms forwarding. then raves about multi-touch, accelerometer etc...
but what shocked me was his last line...
"Sadly, while users may open iTunes in their devices, they still may not purchase or download anything from the iTunes Store."
what planet does this guy live on?
maybe he ought to do some asking around, or maybe check out philmug first before he rants about something so extremely inaccurate. sayang, i have the utmost respect for inquirer.net.

I think he might have a defective unit since he only gets "half a day" and even "just a few hours" battery life. That is extremely short even with 3G, Wifi being used.

He's probably referring to the iTunes Music Store, rather than AppStore.

@nwinter
Maybe you are right, but aside from having an AppStore in iPhone. You can still buy applications inside iTunes Store.

I honestly doubt. But we'll never know for sure if he meant iTunes music store not unless he clarifies. But still, for a widely read major newspaper, accuracy is of utmost importance. He cannot make a sweeping statement like that and adding the description "SADLY" to it. Dangerously misleading for potential iPhone buyers who are all reved up for the app store.

I guess the fact that he totally missed mentioning the AppStore from his review, i.e. the single most important feature of 2.0, is a huge mistake already. It really puts his credibility on the line.
