it's been about two weeks since i last unlocked an iPhone and it seems there's lots of new developments.

i'm trying to unlock an iPhone now. i'm not sure what firmware version it was on, but the serial number is 7S738XXXXXX, which i believe is a 1.0.2 otb phone.

i restored using iTunes to fw 1.0.2 anyway. now i'm trying to activate with iNdependence and the app just keeps quitting.

i've tried several versions of iNdependence: 1.2.1 up to 1.2.5 and the same thing keeps happening.

anyone have any suggestions?

make sure to quit itunes/itunes helper before activate in independence

hmm. i did that. i did it twice in fact. and rebooted and checked if they were quit.
