iDemocracy and iNdependence 1.2.5

iDemocracy released version 1.1.1(1.1) for windows

iNdependence 1.2.5
The main change in this version is that I've replaced DropbearSSH with OpenSSH. This should solve the many problems people were having with SSH connections timing out. If you have an existing DropbearSSH installation, this version will detect that and let you uninstall and reinstall with OpenSSH.

Another big change is that I now just use lockdownd patching for activation on all firmware versions (1.0, 1.0.1, 1.0.2, and 1.1.1). This makes your phone factory activated and you can freely swap SIM cards without having to reactivate. It also makes it so that activating does not re-jail your phone (a big request).

Other than that, ringtone customization still doesn't work yet. I've read all of the documentation about how to hack install ringtones, but it seems like a complicated process at this point. Hopefully someone will figure out an easier way. Note that ringtone customization does not work yet in this release.

Was your phone unlocked when you accidentally updated? If so, you'll need to revirginize your phone first. If not, iNdependence will work fine.

after using iDemocracy, what should we use to activate it? i think it doesn't have built-in activation

it says on the developer's web page on google code that as of the moment, it doesn't support activation.... hmm.. what's the easiest way to unlock otb 1.11 via windows?

Check out page 11 or so of the virginization thread. If you're not comfortable with following instuctions on the terminal, you might want to downgrade to 1.0.2 and wait until a one click activation is available and tested. The link to the pacay beta I posted doesn't seem to work for everyone at this moment.
