How to Update restore to 1.02 Given that 1.1 is already out

Given that Apple just released ver 1.1, how can we update or restore to ver 1.02 given for example that your iphone is ver 1.0, 1.01, or 1.02.. I have a downloaded file of ver 1.02 (92mb).. How do I used this to update and restore my IPhone? Itunes automatically update it to 1.1.

What it basically says is that if you want to restore or update your Iphone to 1.02 you need to have itunes 7.4.1.2 and a copy of the 1.02 iphone firmware.

PLug your iphone with the yellow triangle, hold SHIFT while clicking restore. It will open up a window where you can click on the folder where you saved you 1.02 iphone firmware. Click on it. Wait for about 10mins while your IPhone is being restored or updated.

Worked for me. Upgraded my friends 1.0 to 1.02. It says that it will also work for IPhone with 1.1.1 to 1.02. (Havn't tested this yet)
