How To Jailbreak a 1.1.1 iPhone
Instructions Here. I tested this on a virgin 8gb iPhone and jailbreak was easy. The side scrolling seems to be a nice alternative to the summerboard scrolling. The only part i found harrowing was having to downgrade to 1.02 and upgrade back up to 1.1.1

I already downgraded to 1.0.2 before so that means I just need to jump to Step 3, right?
What are the improvements you get in a jailbroken 1.1.1 ?

Re: How To Jailbreak a 1.1.1 iPhone
jailbreaking means allowing 3rd party apps to be installed in the iPhone. However, since 1.1.1 breaks a lot of the current crop of 3rd party apps, then I really don't see any point in updating from 1.0.2.
13" MacBook Air 1.7GHz 256GB • 21.5-inch iMac 3.06GHz/16GB RAM • 11" MacBook Air 1.4GHz 64GB • Mac mini (Mid 2010) 8GB RAM • 8GB (PRODUCT)™ RED nano 4th gen + Nike+ Sport Kit • 32GB iPhone 4S • 2TB Time Capsule (dual-band) + APExpress (n) • 32GB iPad WiFi+3G

My best friend stick to iPhone firmware 1.0.2. Use at your own risk.

I agree but i think it's safe to assume that the programs will be ported over to work for 1.1.1 with only minimal tweaking needed to work with the new firmware. I'm more excited about 1.1.1 being jailbroken only for the development aspect because if you've noticed, updates on new and existing software on installer.app have all but dried up. Now hopefully development will thrive once again.
