Default How do I reset my ipod's screen lock code?

Yup. My son was experimenting on our iPod video 60GB until he came to the portion of the screen lock. He entered a 4-digit code that he can't remember anymore. I wasn't able to use the iPod for 2 days as I was trying to figure out how to bypass the code. Fortunately, I read from the Apple website that you just need to hook up the iPod to the primary computer and it will open.

I checked this forum if anybody has encountered the same problem but it seems that nobody has experienced this yet. I tried resetting the iPod and looking at the options at iTunes but to no avail.

    Any ideas? Thanks.

    From the ipod manual:
Note: If you can't remember the current combination, the only way to clear it and enter
a new one is to restore the iPod software. See “Updating and Restoring iPod Software”
on page 49 for more information.
