    Default How To Disable Coverflow

Hey guys, I was wondering if there was any way possible to disable coverflow on the iphone when being used as an iPod. The thing is, I like to lie down in bed at night and listen to music, usually lying on my side, which activates coverflow mode but I prefer to scroll through my music the traditional way instead of through coverflow. It gets pretty annoying having to sit upright again when I want to browse through artists, songs, playlists. Any way possible? Thanks in advance.

AFAIK, you can't disable it. However you could trick the accelerometer so that it would position to your liking.

Three ways, none of which actually solves your dilemma -

    1. Put it on sleep mode.

    2. Uncheck "Display album art" when you're synching with iTunes.

    3. Play your iPhone or iPod Touch in an anti-gravity chamber.

Might sound funny, but it works.

When you're lying on your side facing right, position the iPhone in a 45 degree angle instead of horizontal to prevent the cover flow from showing up.
