How to covert video avi, mpg, dvd to be ipod friendly?
Hi, i was using PC before now using MAC, how do i convert videos with MAC? I have several formats here DVD, AVI, and MPEG. Since converting them in Videora with PC doesnt work for the firmwaqre upgrade of 60 gig Video. I wanna now how and what software to use with these files. Thanks!

I've been using the ffmpegX for a while now. It's easy to use, just select the output format from a drop-down list, then drag the file you want to convert into the source field and click convert. It has presets for "iPod for TV" and "iPod h.264".

HandBrake for DVD Video and Forty-Two DVDVX for mpeg files

uhhhh do i have to rip dvd first to my hard drive to use this??? what software to use??
