How can i connect my iPhone to a TV?

Apple Component or Composite Cables. Unfortunately, none are available locally yet. They sell for US$49. To enjoy remote controlled viewing, you would also need a universal dock with remote (US$49 also). They sell u-docks at Digital Walker for PhP2450, I think.

None of the 3rd party docks with TV out capabilities seem to work accoeding to the store clerks that I've talked to. Of course, none of them are willing to open up a sealed unit for me to test on my iPhone.

How you describe it is how it works. There's another connection to a power outlet to provide the iPhone with juice.

be careful what you buy. the old Apple composite cables TV adapter will not work with the iPhone. They say you have to connect it to the dock first.

There are NEW models of these TV adapters available specially for the iPhone and iPod Classic. Not available yet locally I think.
