Help: Unable to Sync Contacts from Address Book to iPhone Using iTunes
I've tried searching in the forums (here and in applei's) but I'm unable to find the answer.
My contacts list on my phone is empty and I have been trying to sync it with my Mac using iTunes but the contacts are not transferring.
Please walk me through or show me where the workaround is.
Thanks, guys.

Re: Help: Unable to Sync Contacts from Address Book to iPhone Using iTunes
By the way, I'm on 1.1.4.
Strangely, it takes a while now to mount the iPhone and my iPod in iTunes. I've already tried deleting the iTunes app and reinstalling it.
No luck.

Re: Help: Unable to Sync Contacts from Address Book to iPhone Using iTunes
try this:
1) Backup your Mac's Addressbook Data (make two copies, addressbook backup and .vcf backup, just to be safe)
2) Delete all your contacts on your Mac's Addressbook
3) Try syncing your iPhone now.
4) Let me know how it goes

Re: Help: Unable to Sync Contacts from Address Book to iPhone Using iTunes
Thanks, doblezeta.
I backed up my address book data as instructed and synced my iPhone in iTunes.
My contacts list is still empty in my iPhone.
What's next?

Re: Help: Unable to Sync Contacts from Address Book to iPhone Using iTunes
Found the solution in various sources in the web. To summarize.
1. Open iSync. Click Reset Sync History in the Preferences. Close iSync.
2. Open iTunes and go to the Syncing tab in Preferences. Delete the back ups, click Ok and close iTunes.
3. Go to Finder and clear the contents of /library/caches/
4. Restart your Mac. Once done, plug in your iPhone and open iTunes (if it doesn't launch it automatically).
5. Go to Info tab and put a check mark on contacts and other boxes necessary. Also check the boxes under the "Replace information on this iPhone."
6. Click Apply.
Also, iTunes ain't slow in mounting my iPhone anymore.
Thanks to doblezeta, ruka, jukas and all the good folks at applei.ph for helping me out.
Cheers!
